Overview: One of seven new faces on the Kansas roster that along with Mario Little, will bring college experience as junior college transfer… A good shooter and ball handler who can play either guard spot… A solid defender… A proven winner as he guided Midland College to the NJCAA national championship his freshman year, defeating Chipola in the championship game. KU teammate Mario Little was a freshman on the Chipola team.

Junior College: Averaged 13.2 points (46 percent shooting), 5.2 assists and 1.7 steals per game last season for 28-4 Midland… Had seven games of 20-plus points, including a career-high 35 against Hill… Led the Western Junior College Athletic Conference in scoring, assists and steals as he was named MVP of the league as a sophomore… His 5.2 assists were ninth nationally… Was also named second team NJCAA All-America in 2007-08… As a freshman in 2006-07, led Midland to the NJCAA national title in which the Chaparrals went 29-8… Led the team in three-point field goal percentage (57.7, 36-71)… Was second on the team with 14 points per game, including a team-best 16.4 points per game in league play… Averaged 3.2 assists and 1.9 steals for the Chaparrals in 2006-07.

High School: Averaged 19.5 points and 8.0 assists per game at Harmony Community School in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2005-06 as his team posted a 29-3 record… Spent the 2004-05 season at Bridgton Academy in Maine… With Appleton, Bridgton was 30-6 and won the NEPSAC Class A title… Played at Roosevelt High School in Gary, Ind., prior to attending Bridgton, where he was a candidate for Mr. Basketball in Indiana.
