Senior Season (2015-16):
Competed in all 13 events while finishing the season leading the Jayhawks in seven different categories including: scoring average (72.00), average versus par (+0.23), top-20 finishes (10), rounds in the 60’s (10), percentage of rounds counted (95.00), rounds under par (16) and total rounds of even or under par (19)… Led Kansas in scoring four times, including the last two events of season: at the Big 12 Championship (April 29-May 1) and the NCAA Regionals (May 16-18)… Set a new career low at the Desert Shootout (March 18-19), where he shot a 12-under, 204… Selected to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team after recording a 290 (+2) and placing 10th at the conference tournament.
Junior Season (2014-15):
Completed the season with four top-20 finishes and two top-10 finishes… Recorded a season best seventh-place finish at the Wolverine Intercollegiate (Sept. 6-7) by posting a 212 (-1), which led the Jayhawks for that event… Finished ninth at the Desert Shootout (March 19-21), while posting a career-best round of 64 (-8)… Shot seven rounds of even par and seven rounds under par.
Sophomore Season (2013-14):
Led Kansas in scoring at two of his eight events, finishing tied for 30th at the Irish Creek Collegiate (April 5-6)… His best finish was tied for seventh at the Hawkeye Invitational (April 12-13)… Posted a season scoring average of 73.92… Had one top-10 individual finish… Shot four rounds even par and three rounds under par… Low tournament score was two-under par with scores of 74, 68 and 72, tallying a 214, at the Desert Shootout (March 20-22)… Shot a season-low 68 (-4) in the second round of the Desert Shootout (March 20-22).
2012-13 (Freshman at Indian Hills Community College):
Played in every event and maintained a 73.67 scoring average during his freshman year in 2012-13 at Indian Hills Community College (Ottumwa, Iowa) for coach Mike Hagen… Runner-up at the Community First Credit Union Fall Invitational… Recorded a third-place finish at the Augustana Invitational… Placed fourth at the Iowa-Kansas clash… Carded a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA District III Championship… Took seventh place at the Wichita Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic… An all-district selection… Named to the NJCAA District III All-Tournament Team his freshman year.
High School:
Four-year letterwinner in golf at Ankeny High School in Ankeny, Iowa… A two-time Class 4A First Team All-State selection his junior and senior years… Qualified for the Iowa State Tournament his junior and senior seasons… Central Iowa Metropolitan League (CIML) Central Conference Tournament Champion during his junior year in 2011… Three-time winner of the CIML All-Academic Award his sophomore, junior and senior seasons… Academic Excellence Award Winner all four years of high school… Champion of the 2010 MAJGT Hawkeye Classic… Finished tied for fifth at the FCWT at Whistling Straits in 2011… Tied for sixth place at the AJGA Midwest Junior Players Championship… Member of the school’s basketball team for three years.
