One of the most decorated freshman in the history of Kansas basketball … Named to numerous All-America teams in his lone season at Kansas … Became only the fourth KU freshman to be named first-team all-conference, joining Brandon Rush (Big 12 in 2006), Dave Robisch (Big Eight in 1969) and Darnell Valentine (Big Eight in 1978).

2016-17 (FRESHMAN)
• Posted a Kansas freshman record with 13 double-doubles.
• Also set the KU freshman record with 220 field goals made, 429 field goals attempted and tied for first with 258 rebounds (Danny Manning in 1985).
• Was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week a KU record seven times.
• Piggybacked two USBWA National Freshman of the Week honors with his league newcomer weekly awards.
• Twice was named Big 12 Player of the Week.
• In only one season, Jackson’s nine Big 12 weekly honors were more than any other Jayhawk for his career, passing Nick Collison’s eight from 2000-03.

• Named to the 2016 USA Junior National Select Team that played in the 2016 Nike Hoop Summit on Dec. 14, 2015.
• Participated in the 2015 USA Basketball Junior National Team October minicamp.
• Member of the 2015 USA Basketball U19 National Team that captured the gold medal with a perfect 7-0 record at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship in Heraklion, Greece … averaged 12.1 points and 7.0 rebounds a game.

• As a senior at Prolific Prep, averaged 26.9 points, 13.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game in 2015-16.
• As a junior at Prolific Prep, averaged 31.2 points, 17.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 2.3 steals while leading school to a 29-7 record … Started all 36 games.
• Guided Detroit Consortium College Prep School to its first state title in 2014, averaging 28.0 points, 15 rebounds and six assists per game.
