Competed in the decathlon at the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championship (5/25-27) and finished eighth overall, placing first in the pole vault with a clearance of 5.01 meters (16-5.25 ft.), fourth in the long jump with a wind-aided jump measuring 6.97 meters (22-10.5 ft.), fourth in the 100-meter with a time of 10.87 (wind aided), and sixth in the shot put with a throw of 11.99 meters (39-4 ft.) … Finished third overall in the decathlon at the Kansas Relays (4/19-22).
2017 INDOOR (Sr.)
Finished fifth overall in the heptathlon at the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championship (2/24-25), placed first in the pole vault (4.95 meters 16-2.75 ft.), sixth in the 60-meter (7.10), seventh in the 60-meter hurdles (8.55), and seventh in the long jump (6.73 meters 22-1 ft.) … Placed ninth in the heptathlon at the Husker Invitational (2/3-4).
2016 OUTDOOR (Jr.)
Competed in the decathlon at the Big 12 Outdoor Championship (5/15) and earned sixth overall, placing fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a wind-aided time of 15.10, ninth in the shot put (10.95 meters; 35-11.25 ft.), seventh in the discus (33.69 meters; 110-6.0 ft.), 10th in the javelin (40.17 meters; 131-9.0 ft.), fourth in the long jump (6.80 meters; 22-3.75 ft.), second in the pole vault (4.80 meters; 15-9.0 ft.), fourth in the 100 meters with a wind-aided time of 10.93, 10th in the high jump with a leap of 1.72 meters (5-7.75 ft.), ninth in the 1,500 meters (5:21.12) and seventh in the 400 meters (52.37) … Finished 10th in the pole vault after clearing 4.69 meters (15-4.5 ft.) at the Rock Chalk Classic (4/30).

Placed sixth in the heptathlon at the Big 12 Indoor Championship (2/27), earning first in the pole vault (5.04 meters; 16-6.5 ft.), eighth in the high jump (1.83 meters; 6-0.0 ft.), fifth in the 60 meters (7.08), 11th in the shot put (11.20 meters; 36-9.0 ft.), 12th in the 1,000 meters (3:16.82), sixth in the long jump (6.69 meters; 21-11.5 ft.) and sixth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.48) … Runner-up in the heptathlon at the Jayhawk Classic (1/29) … Finished third in the pole vault at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular (1/15) after clearing 4.80 meters (15-9.0 ft.) … Claimed third in the 60-meter hurdles at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular with a time of 8.43 … Took third in the pole vault at the Bill Easton Classic (1/8) with a clearance of 4.75 meters (15-7.0 ft.).
AT IOWA WESTERN CC (2014-15)
Developed into one of the top combined event specialists in the junior college ranks during his two years competing for the Reivers … A two-time NJCAA All-American in the decathlon … The national runner-up in the event as a sophomore in 2015 with his score of 6,359 points … Also achieved All-America status in the pole vault twice, hitting a personal best of 16-4.75 ft., at the 2015 NJCAA National Championships … Finished fourth in the heptathlon at the 2014 NJCAA Indoor Championships after amassing 4,397 points.
