Finished second in the pole vault at the season-opening Bob Timmons Challenge (12/2) with a personal-best clearance of 4.91 meters (16-1.25 ft.) … Finished fourth at the Arkansas Invitational (1/12) in the pole vault, making a bar of 4.90 meters (16-0.75 ft.).

2017 OUTDOOR (Jr.)
Posted a fifth-place finish in the pole vault at the Ward Haylett Invite (5/6) with a clearance of 4.65 meters (15-3 ft.) … Competed in the decathlon at the Kansas Relays (4/19-22) and finished 10th overall, placing second in the 1,500-meter run (4:44.06), fourth in the 400-meter dash (52.79), fifth in the pole vault (4.50 meters; 14-9 ft.) and sixth in the javelin (43.96 meters; 144-3 ft.).

Competed in the heptathlon at the Jayhawk Classic (1/26-27) and placed second overall, finishing first in pole vault (4.45 meters; 14-7.25 ft.), first in the 1,000-meter run (2:48.40), fourth in the shot put (10.48 meters; 34-4.75 ft.) and eighth in the 60-meter dash (7.56).

Finished ninth overall in the decathlon at the Kansas Relays (4/21) with a total score of 6,082 points … Vaulted to sixth place at the Ward Haylett Invitational (5/7) with a clearance of 4.70 meters (15-5.0 ft.) … Assisted the 4×400-meter relay team to 14th at the ESU Relays (4/2) with a time of 3:25.28 … Placed 20th in the long jump at the Rock Chalk Classic (4/30) after a wind-aided leap of 5.92 meters (19-5.25 ft.).

Placed sixth in the pole vault at the Bill Easton Classic (1/8) after clearing 4.30 meters (14-1.25 ft.) … Helped the 4×400-meter relay team to a third-place finish in 3:29.14 at the Bill Easton Classic (1/8) … Competed in the heptathlon at the Jayhawk Classic (1/29), placing third with a score of 4,477 points, including a second-place pole vault finish (4.54 meters; 14-10.75 ft.), second place in the 1,000 meters (2:57.38) and a runner-up performance in the shot put with a throw of 11.37 meters (37-3.75 ft.).
