Opened his season with a first-place finish in the 60-meter dash at the Jayhawk Classic (1/25-26) and became the No. 5 performer in KU history with a time of 6.85 seconds … Clocked a 6.87-second 60 meter time in the prelims at the Rod McCravy Memorial (2/3) to qualify for the finals where he went on to finish fourth … Finished 14th in the prelims of the 60 meters at the Big 12 Indoor Championship (2/23-24) with a time of 6.87.

Qualified for the NCAA Division I West Preliminary (5/25-27) and finished 35th in the 100-meter dash with a wind-aided time of 10.38 … Earned a ninth-place finish in the 100 meters at the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championship (5/12-14) with a wind-aided time of 10.39 … Helped the 4×100-meter relay team earn third-place at the Big 12 Championship (40.77).
