D.J. Holding took the baton from Paul Hefferon in the first exchange of the 4-mile relay.

Chris Jones opened up a comfortable lead during the third leg of the 4-mile relay.

Colby Wissel anchored KU to victory in the final running event Friday evening.

Abby Emsick fired the shot 45-02.75 for seventh place.

Dan Ferguson splashed down in second place during the 3000-meter steepechase.

Maurice Greene entertained the media during his Friday press conference. The Olympian will run Saturday in the Kansas Relays Gold Zone.

Marion Jones also met with the media during her first visit to Kansas.

Crystal Manning strained for extra distance during a long jump attempt.
