Rock Chalk Dancers to Host Dance Clinic and Performance

LAWRENCE, Kan.--Kansas' Rock Chalk Dancers will host a dance clinic and performance for children ages kindergarten through high school at Horjesi Family Athletic Center on the KU campus Sunday, Dec. 2. Clinic participants will learn a dance to perform with the Rock Chalk Dancers during a timeout at the Kansas women's basketball game against Minnesota in Allen Fieldhouse the same day. The clinic will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. with lunch provided at the conclusion of the morning session. There will be a review of the dance at 1 p.m. with the women's basketball game beginning at 2 p.m. Cost of the clinic is $50 and parents of participants can purchase tickets to the afternoon's game for just $3. The deadline for registration is Nov. 20. Rock Chalk Dancer calendars, sunflower barrettes, Rock Chalk Dance t-shirts and photos with the Rock Chalk Dancers will be available for purchase at the clinic.
