Originally founded as the Outland Club in 1949 by Dick, Skipper and Odd Williams, the Williams Education Fund (WEF) is the official fundraising department for Kansas Athletics.
2012 OUTDOOR Competed at the Arkansas Spring Invite (4/7) where he set a personal best pole vault mark of 5.00 meters (17-04.50 ft.), good enough for a tie for fifth place... Best finish of the season came at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational (4/27), where he placed fourth after clearing a height of 4.86 meters (15-11.25 ft.).
2012 INDOOR Recorded a personal best vault of 4.75 meters (15-00.75 ft.) at the Kansas vs. Missouri Dual (1/13) where he placed fourth... Made his collegiate debut at the Bob Timmons Challenge (12/2), earning a 10th-place finish after his clearance of 4.30 meters (14-01.25 ft.).
HIGH SCHOOL Competed in football and track and field at Royal Valley High School in Hoyt, Kan... School record holder in the pole vault with a mark of 14-6 ft.... 4A State Champion in the pole vault his junior year (2010)... Took second place at 4A State Championships in 2011 and third place as a sophomore in 2009... 4A State Finalist in the 400-meter dash his junior year... All-state running back and defensive back in football both his junior and senior seasons... Named to the Topeka Capital Journal All-Academic Team... Governor's Scholar... Kansas Honor Scholar... School valedictorian.
PERSONAL Son of Margaret and Tim Blevins... Has two siblings, Adam (20) and Elizabeth (16)... Majoring in aerospace engineering.
