2004 Indoor: Had an impressive freshman year with two individual wins ... Took first place in the shot put at the K-State All-Comers meet with a throw of 57-6 .... Also took first place at the Wildcat Invitational in the shot put (55-5 1/2) ... Had his best throw of the year at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a toss of 57-11 1/4 and a sixth place finish. 2004 Outdoor: Recorded three Invidual wins on the season ... Had his best throw of the season (59-9 1/2), with a win at the Kansas Relays ... Took first place at the Texas Relays in the shot put (59-2 1/4) ... Placed first in the discus (178-03) at the Hurricane Invitational ... Finished eighth in the shot put and 11th in the discus at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships. High School: Won four letters in track and three in football ... Holds the school record in the discus (192-1) and shot put (62-2 3/4) ... A five-time state champ for head coach Brian Storms ... Recorded a fourth place finish in the shot at the 2003 Junior National Meet ...
