2009 OUTDOOR: Finished ninth in the high jump at the Big 12 Championships (May 17), with a season-best mark of 1.54 meters (5-5 ft.)...Jumped 1.60 meters (5-3 ft.) four times throughout the season. 2009 INDOOR: Competed in six meets for the Crimson and Blue...Won the KU vs. MU Duel (Jan. 16) after clearing 1.63 meters (5-04.25 ft.)...Recorded a season-best high jump of 1.66 meters (5-05.25 ft.) at the adidas Classic (Jan. 31). 2008 OUTDOOR: Competed three times in the high jump, posting identical jumps of 1.55 meters (5-01 ft.) all three times...Placed third at the Missouri Relays, 11th at the Arkansas Twilight and 20th at the Kansas Relays. 2008 INDOOR: Utilized redshirt season. 2007 OUTDOOR: Consistent at two meets in the high jump...Had a jump of 1.60 meters (5-03 ft.) at the Tulsa Duels and the Kansas Relays. 2007 INDOOR: Competed in the high jump at four meets during her freshman year...Recorded a jump of 1.59 meters (5-02.5 ft.) at the K-State All-Comers Meet...At the Husker Invitational she landed her best jump of the season of 1.63 meters (5-04.25 ft.). HIGH SCHOOL: Won 2006 6A state high jump. PERSONAL: Daughter of Kent and Diana Beisner...Valedictorian of graduating high school class and member of National Honor Society...Has two brothers who attended KU...Majoring in business marketing with a concentration in Spanish. |
