2009 OUTDOOR: Had a very successful freshman season, posting two regional qualifying marks in the triple jump...Had a team-leading and season-best mark of 15.34 meters (50-04 ft.) to finish first at the Jim Click Shootout (April 4)...Took second at the Kansas Relays (April 17), where he posted a regional qualifying mark of 1.25 meters (50-00.50 ft.)...Also finished second at the Drake Relays (Apr. 25), and John Jacobs Invitational (April 11). 2009 INDOOR: Placed in the top three in six of the eight meets in which he competed..Had the best triple jump mark on the team by over three feet...Finished as runner up at the ISU NCAA Qualifier (Mar. 7), where he leaped to a season-best 15.21 meters (49-11 ft.)...Finished third at the New Balance Collegiate (Feb. 7) with a mark of 15.12 meters (49-07.25 ft.).
