2009 OUTDOOR: Set the second-best 110-meter hurdle time in school history (13.73) in the prelims of the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships, went on to finish second overall in the event...Earned a trip to the NCAA Championships, where he ran 14.01 in the semifinals of the 110-meter hurdles (June 12), just missing the cut for the finals...Placed second at the Kansas Relays in the 110-meter hurdles, with a time of 14.05...Led the team in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.55 at the Kansas Relays.

2009 INDOOR: Ran an NCAA qualifying and season-best time of 7.86 in the 60-meter hurdles at the ISU NCAA Qualifier (Mar. 7)...Took first at the Arkansas Invitational (Jan. 9) and KU vs. MU Dual (Jan. 16) in the 60-meter hurdles, with times of 8.02 and 8.07, respectively...Also won the 200 meters at the KU vs. MU Dual with a time of 22.79...Finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles, scoring four points toward the team total, at the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 28).
