Originally founded as the Outland Club in 1949 by Dick, Skipper and Odd Williams, the Williams Education Fund (WEF) is the official fundraising department for Kansas Athletics.
2012 OUTDOOR Best vault of the year was 4.40 meters (14-05.25 ft.) which he cleared in his 15th-place finish at the Arkansas Twilight (5/4)... Top finish of the season was eighth at the Emporia State Relays (4/7) where he notched a clearance of 4.15 meters (13-07.50 ft.).
2012 INDOOR Top mark of the season came at the Kansas vs. Missouri Dual (1/13) where he recorded a height of 4.15 meters (13-07.5 ft.) and finished fourth overall... Competed at the Bill Easton Classic (1/7), finishing in seventh with a vault of 4.00 meters (13-01.50 ft.).
2011 OUTDOOR Placed 14th at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational (4/29) with a personal-best height of 4.48 meters (14-08.25 ft.)... Cleared 4.15 meters (13-07.25 ft.) to finish 10th at the Razorback Spring Invitational (4/2).
2011 INDOOR Cleared a personal-best height of 4.30 meters (14-01.25 ft.) at both the Bill Easton Classic (1/8) and the Missouri vs. Kansas Dual (1/14), finishing fifth and ninth, respectively.

AT NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE Competed in the pole vault during the 2008-09 seasons, recording a personal-best vault of 14-1 ft.
HIGH SCHOOL Qualified for the state championships in the pole vault his junior year... A state qualifier in basketball his senior season... Named to the all-area football team as a quarterback in 2008... A member of National Honor Society and on the honor roll.
PERSONAL Son of Tom and Becky Hays... Father, Tom, is the vertical jumps coach at Kansas... Brother, Ryan, was a member of the pole vault squad at KU (2007-10)... Grandfather, Howard, also attended KU... Majoring in exercise science.
