Ended his freshman campaign with a season-best toss of 50.75 meters (166-06 ft.) in a 16^th-place finish at the Big 12 Championships (5/13) ... Highest finish of season came at the Baker Relays (3/24) in which he finished third with a discus mark of 49.30 meters (161-09 ft.)... Recorded a season-best in the hammer throw at the Baker Relays (3/24) with his mark of 36.20 meters (118-09 ft.).
