2002 Cross Country: Ran in five of six meets ... Was the first Jayhawk finisher in two races ... Had his best performance at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree where he was the first Kansas runner to finish and the 12th place winner overall with an 8k time of 24:48 ... Finished the Midwest Regional 10k race in a time of 30:27.40 to place second among his teammates and 15th overall, earning all-region honors ... Competed at the Big 12 Championship and finished third for the Jayhawks and 43rd overall (25:19.30) ... Scored points for Kansas in every meet he competed.

2002 Outdoor: Ran the 1500m, 3k and 5k, competing in six meets. Recorded a season-best 1500m time of 3:53.10 at the Hawkeye Twilight, earning 10th place ... Placed 10th in the 5k at the Big 12 Championship (14:47.14).
