2012 CROSS COUNTRY
Claimed a spot in the top six of KU's finishers in all four meets in which he competed... Was Kansas' top scorer at the Big 12 Championships (10/27) with his overall finish of 17^th and his 8K time of 24:27.0... Earned a seventh-place finish at his first meet of the season, the Rim Rock Classic (1/29) where he clocked in with an 8K time of 24:09.1... Competed for KU at the NCAA Midwest Regional, notching a 69^th-place finish overall and coming in as the Jayhawks' sixth-finisher with his 10K time of 32:08.35.

2012 OUTDOOR

Closed out his rookie campaign with a fourth-place finish in the 10,000 meters at the U.S. Junior Championships (6/16), crossing the finish line in a time of 31:15.91... Took part in both the 5,000 and 10,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships (5/13), claiming 12^th in the 10K with a personal-best time of 30:23.16 and placing 29^th in the 5K on his time of 14:56.63 ... Set a personal best in the 5,000 meters and finished fourth at the Kansas Relays (4/19), recording a time of 14:50.89... Took first place in the 5,000 meters at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational (4/27) crossing the finish line in 14:56.63.

Ran in six meets for the Jayhawks, the most of any freshman... Was KU's seventh finisher at the Big 12 Championships (10/29), completing the 8K in a season-best 25:50.4 to place 66^th... Finished 94^th at the Midwest Regional Championships (11/12), crossing the finish line with a 10K time of 33:51.04... Placed sixth and was the Jayhawks' fifth finisher at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge (9/10) with an 8K time of 27:10.65.

Three-time individual 4A state champion in track and field (3,200 meters and 1,600 meters)... Member of three-time 4A state champion cross country team... School record holder in the 3,200 meters (9:14) as well as the 5K in cross country... Both records set his senior year... Two-time academic all-state.
