Was the top KU finisher in the pole vault at the Big 12 Championships (5/13) in which he finished tied for seventh after clearing a height of 5.16 meters (16-11.00 ft.)... Set a personal best at the Emporia State Relays (4/7), clearing a mark of 5.20 meters (17-00.75 ft.) to earn him a third-place finish... Won the vault in his first outdoor meet as a Jayhawk at the Baker Relays (3/24), clearing a height of 4.85 meters (15-11.00 ft.)... Qualified for the NCAA West Prelim, where he went on to finish in a tie for 38^th with a top clearance of 4.95 meters (16-02.75 ft.).

2012 INDOOR
Scored for the Jayhawks at his first Big 12 Championships (2/24) where he finished fourth after his clearance of 5.00 meters (16-04.75 ft.)... Season's best vault of 5.20 meters (17-00.75 ft.) earned at the Arkansas Qualifier (3/2), where he placed third... Took part in the New Balance Invitational (2/4) where he cleared 5.05 meters (16-06.75 ft.) to finish in a tie for 15^th.

Broke the school record in the pole vault with a clearance of 16-06 ft. his senior year...Finished fourth in the pole vault at the Texas State Championships his senior year...Competed in the Texas state Championships three-straight seasons...Member of state champion gymnastics team his junior year.
