2009 OUTDOOR: Clocked in at 14.73 in the prelims of the 110-meter hurdles at the Big 12 Championships (May 16)...Posted a 110-meter hurdle time of 14.89 in the prelims of the Kansas Relays (April 17), and went on to finish eighth in the finals with a time of 15.23. 2009 INDOOR: Ran in four different events throughout the season, including the 60-meter hurdles, 200, 300 and 400-meter dashes...Had a season-best 60-meter hurdle time of 8.55 at the ISU Classic (Feb. 13)...Placed fourth at the KU vs. MU Duel (Jan. 16) in the same event, posting a time of 8.61. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in track and one in cross country...Holds four school records: 110-meter hurdles (13.92), 100 meters (10.81), 300-meter hurdles (38.8) and 4x100-meter relay...State champion in the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles as a junior and senior...Set the Class 2A state meet record in the 110-meter hurdles as a senior (14.23)...State runner-up in the 100 meters and 4x100-meter relay as a senior...Had 36 of his team's 42 points at the state meet as a senior to lead it to a third-place finish...League champion as a senior in the 110-meter hurdles, 100 meters, 300-meter hurdles and 4x100-meter relay...Regional champion in the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles his junior and senior years...Was named team MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior...League champion in the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles as a junior...Gatorade Rookie of the Year for track and field as a freshman...Two-year letterman in both football and basketball.
