Named the Big 12 Freshman Male Track Athlete of the Year... Set a school record of 49.45 in the 400-meter hurdles en route to claiming the event title at the Big 12 Championships (5/13)... Earned First Team All-American distinction at the NCAA Championships (6/8) in the 400-meter hurdles where he ran to a sixth-place finish on a time of 50.41... Advanced to the finals of the U.S. Olympic Trials 400-meter hurdles, where he went on clock in at 50.63 to finish seventh overall... Member of KU's NCAA Championship-qualifying 4x400-meter relay team which ran to the second-fastest time in school history (3:04.89) at the Big 12 Championships (5/12) en route to finishing fourth... Won the 400-meter hurdles at the Kansas Relays (4/20) where he marked a time of 51.47... Ran a wind-aided 14.10 110-meter hurdles at the UTEP Invitational (4/14), leading him to a runner-up finish.

2012 INDOOR
Competed at the Big 12 Championships (2/24) in the 60-meter hurdles where he placed 11^th while crossing the finish line in 8.29... Set team and personal best in the 60-meter hurdles at the Jayhawk Classic (1/27) with a mark of 8.14... Won the 60-meter hurdles at the Kansas vs. Missouri Dual (1/13) after crossing the finish line in 8.17.

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned All-American honors in the 400m hurdles at the U.S. Junior Championships with a time of 52.07... Texas 4A state champion in both the 110m hurdles (13.67) and the 300m hurdles (37.02)... 110m-hurdle PR of 13.67 was third-fastest in Texas in 2011... Member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
