Sheldon Battle finished third in the Invitational Shot Put and then captured the men's discus throw title.

Christian Cantwell had a Relays' record throw of 70-3.75, the best mark in the world this year.

Crystal Cox won the Invitational 200.

The second largest Kansas Relays crowd of 26,211 cheered on Justin Gatlin's winning anchor run in the 4x100 Invitational Relay.

Gatlin easily anchored the victory over Maurice Greene.

The Relays crowd was on its feet for a race filled with Olympians.

Gatlin let out a cheer after crossing the finish line.

Gatlin tossed his baton to the cheering crowd.

Fans fought for Gatlin's bib number.

Two very fast Greenes chatted before the race - Maurice and Relays Hall of Fame inductee Charlie Greene.

Greene fought all the way to the finish but couldn't close fast enough on Gatlin.

Greene still had waves for his adoring fans.

Nike's Kevin Hicks broke the Relays record in the 800 with a time of 1:47.58.

Bershawn Jackson flew to a new Relays record in the 400-meter hurdles.

Muna Lee anchored the USA All-Stars to victory in the 4x100 relay.

Former Jayhawk Amy Linnen finished second in the Invational Pole Vault.

Cowley's Daniel Mania ran away with the title in the Invitational Mile.

Former KU great Pat Manson continued to delight the crowd with his vaulting accomplishments.

Margaret Nakintu, left, and Amy Mortimer battled throughout the 1500-meter run before Nakintu pulled away to win.
