Sheldon Battle captured the men's discus title Sunday and was named the Big 12 Track & Field Championship's top male athlete.

Julius Jiles finished third in the 400 meter hurdles and helped KU's men finish fourth overall.

Ekaterina Sultanoya won the women's pole vault with a mark of 13-05.25.

Amy Linnen finished third in the women's pole vault.

Barret Saunders anchored KU to a fifth place finish in the 4x100 relay.

Brooklyn Hann finished third in the women's triple jump.

Abby Emsick threw the discus 170-06 for third place.

Benson Chesang finished second in the 5000 meter run.

Dan Ferguson splashed through the water jump in the 3000 meter steeplchase.
