MIRAMAR, Fla. - Kansas rising junior Rebeka Stowe was crowned the 3000-meter steeplechase champ Sunday at the NACAC Track and Field Championships in Miramar, Fla.

Stowe won with a time of 10:08.58, completing the trifecta for KU, as fellow Jayhawks Jordan Scott and Mason Finley took home the gold for the U.S., Friday at the Ansin Sports Complex. Scott, a rising senior, took first place in the pole vault while rising sophomore thrower Finley won the discus title.

Under the tutelage KU head track and field coach Stanley Redwine, who served as the head women's coach for the United States, Stowe and Virginia's Stephanie Garcia finished 1-2 for the U.S.
