Notched a career-best 8K time at the ISU Pre-Nationals meet (Oct. 16), placing 132^nd in 25:21.00... Finished 48^th at his second Big 12 Championships meet (Oct. 30), crossing the finish line in 25:46.96... Ran in his first Midwest Regional meet (Nov. 13), running a 10k time of 32:02.34 and finishing 82^nd... Named to Academic All-Big 12 First Team for second-consecutive season.

SOPHOMORE (2009)

Was among the Jayhawks' top-five finishers in five of the six meets in which he competed... Posted a career-best 8K time of 25:26 at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree (Oct. 3), where he also had a season-best team-finish of third, while placing 62^nd overall... Clocked in at 25:30 at the ISU Pre-Nationals Invitational (Oct. 17) to take 123^rd... Competed at the Big 12 Championships (Oct. 31), finishing in 62^nd in an 8K time of 26:44.50... Selected as a member of the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.

FRESHMAN (2008)

Ran unattached at the Bob Timmons Classic, finishing in 16^th place with an 8K time of 26:59.60... Placed 17^th at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge with an 8K time of 28:00.68... Ran a 26:50 (8K) at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree... Recorded a personal-best 8K time of 26:36.30 to finish 91st in the Men's Open Race at the ISU Pre-Nationals.
