Jayhawks Confident Heading into Big 12 Cross Country Championships

Both teams looking for first Big 12 crown

2011 CROSS COUNTRY
Competed in five of the Jayhawks' seven meets... Competed at the Big 12 Championships (10/29), placing 69^th overall with a season-best 8K time of 26:02.8... Was KU's No. 5 finisher at the Bob Timmons Classic (9/3), completing the 6K in 20:11.30 and placing 11^th overall... Earned 16^th place at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge (9/10), crossing the finish line with an 8K time of 27:59.18... Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.
