Jayhawks prep for Friday meet versus many of NCAA's top teams

FRESHMAN (2011)
Ran in six meets for the Jayhawks, the most of any freshman... Was KU's seventh finisher at the Big 12 Championships (10/29), completing the 8K in a season-best 25:50.4 to place 66^th... Finished 94^th at the Midwest Regional Championships (11/12), crossing the finish line with a 10K time of 33:51.04... Placed sixth and was the Jayhawks' fifth finisher at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge (9/10) with an 8K time of 27:10.65.

HIGH SCHOOL
Three-time individual 4A state champion in track and field: 2010, 3,200m - 2011, 1,600m - 2011)... Member of three-time 4A state champion cross country team... School record holder in the 3,200 meters (9:14) as well as the 5K in cross country... Both records set his senior year... Two-time academic all-state.
