KU Cross Country Makes Strong Showing at Haskell Invitational

SOPHOMORE (2011)
Ran in three meets for the Jayhawks, earning two top-20 finishes... Earned Big 12 Runner of the Week honors for his fourth-place finish in the Haskell Invitational (10/8) with a personal best 8K time of 26:21.21... Finished 16^th with a 6K time of 20:25.90 at the Bob Timmons Classic (9/3).

HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterwinner in track and basketball... Lettered three years in cross country and one year in football... Member of the Osawatomie High School third-place state track team in 2008... Holds five school records: 800 meters (1:52.96), 1,600 meters (4:23.1), 4X400 relay (3:21.44)which is also a state record, 4X800 (8:01.4) and the high jump (6'7")... Seven-time state track medalist... Named to the academic all-state cross country team in 2008 and 2009... All-state honorable mention in basketball his junior and senior year (2008 and 2009).
