Competed in all six meets for the Jayhawks in only his first season with the team... Season's top 8K time came at the ISU Pre-Nationals meet (Oct. 16), finishing in 26:33.70 and placing 62^nd in the open race... Top finish was 11^th, coming at the Bob Timmons Classic (Sept. 4) where he notched a 6K time of 19:53.90... Ran at the Big 12 Championships (Oct. 30), placing 77^th with an 8K time of 27:40:19... One of six Jayhawks to compete at the NCAA Midwest Regional meet (Nov. 13), running a 10K time of 32:59.25 and placing 127^th.

Three-time member of the Mulvane High School state champion cross country team (2007-2009)... Valedictorian of his class.
