Jayhawks Equipped to Compete at Big 12 Cross Country Championships

Women's 6k to run at 10 a.m. Saturday, Men's 8k slated for 11 a.m.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2011)
Had a solid debut season for the Jayhawks, competing in six meets in the Crimson and Blue... Was the Jayhawks' top finisher at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge (9/10), finishing second overall with an 8K time of 26:54.35... Was the fourth scorer for KU at the Big 12 Championships (10/29), coming in at 48^th and a personal-best 8K time of 25:06.7... Took fifth overall and second among his teammates at the Bob Timmons Classic (9/3), finishing the 6K in 19:37.90.

Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track... Holds two Abilene High School records in the 3,200 meters (9:19) and the two-mile (9:23)...
