Distance coach Doug Clark shook hands with Patrick McGowan and the other Jayhawks prior to the men's start.

The men started on their 8K journey that ended with a KU team victory.

Eventual winner, Colby Wissel led a tight pack of KU runners through the woods north of Lawrence.
