Mary Frances grew up in Washington, D.C., and attended college in North Carolina. She began her career in Morgantown, W. Va., with the Department of Justice. Mary Frances met her husband, Paul, in Washington, D.C. They have lived in California, Germany, Lawrence, Boston, and Lawrence. Five years ago, immediately after moving from Boston back to Lawrence, Mary Frances accepted a position with a brand-new venture called First Serve, later to become the Jayhawk Tennis Center. She is currently the Desk Staff Manager and League Coordinator. Mary Frances is an avid tennis player and enjoys USTA League competition. "Tennis is a lifetime sport and I love to encourage people, regardless of age, to give it a try. Once bitten by the tennis bug, you'll want to play forever," says Mary Frances. |
