Originally founded as the Outland Club in 1949 by Dick, Skipper and Odd Williams, the Williams Education Fund (WEF) is the official fundraising department for Kansas Athletics.
Summer 2012: Played in 13 games for the Newport Gulls of the New England Collegiate League ... Batted .318 with five doubles, four homers and nine RBIs ... Manager was Mike Coombs.
2012 (Junior): Played in 43 games, making 42 starts ... Made 22 starts behind the plate and 20 as the designated hitter ... Batted .261 with seven doubles, four homers and 23 RBIs ... 2011 (Sophomore): Played in 38 games, making 26 starts at catcher and three as the designated hitter ... Hit .320 with six homers and 23 RBIs ... Collected 31 total hits, five of them doubles, for a slugging percentage of .557, which led the team ... Drove in at least three runs four different times ... Ended the season on a seven game hitting streak ... Hit .341 during Big 12 play with 15 hits and drawing 10 walks for an .473 on base percentage ... Had two hits and two walks with a home run against Baylor (April 2) ... Hit two home runs and collected five RBIs against Saint Mary (April 19) ... Went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and four RBIs against Alabama A&M (May 14).
Summer 2010: Played for the Terre Haute Rex of the Prospect League ... Hit .250 with 11 doubles, four homers and 20 RBIs in 45 games ... Posted a .357 on-base percentage.
2010 (Freshman): Played 22 games, making nine starts behind the plate ... Hit .143 with a homer and six RBIs ... Recorded an RBI in his first collegiate game against Eastern Michigan (Feb. 22) ... Collected first collegiate hit against Iowa (March 6) ... Hit a three-run homer against Tabor, the first of his career (March 10) ... Recorded three hits in his final 13 at bats ... Collected a pinch-hit single against Baylor (May 29) at the Big 12 Championship.
At El Camino Real HS: Lettered for head coach Josh Lienhard ... Named First Team All-West Valley League and first team all-city during his senior season ... Also received the "Coaches' Award" ... Batted .402 with 10 homers and 25 RBIs during his final season ... Hit .356 with 21 RBIs during his junior campaign to earn Second Team All-West Valley League honors ...
