2012 (Junior): Named First Team Academic All-Big 12 ... Earned selection to the Athletic Director's and Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Rolls ... Played in 45 games, making 37 starts ... Started 15 games at second base, 12 at third base and 10 as a designated hitter ... Batted .301 for the season with five doubles, two triples and 29 runs scored ... Reached base at a .453 clip ... At Free State HS: Lettered three years in baseball for coach Mike Hill ... Named first team all-state ... Selected second team all-area by the Kansas City Star ...
