Also had scoreless appearances against Chicago State (3/26), Saint Mary (4/2) and Baker (4/15). Summer 2007: Went 3-1 with a save and a 3.53 ERA for the Topeka Golden Giants of the MINK League ... Made nine appearances and three starts ... Pitched a complete game ... Teammate of current Jayhawk Wally Marciel. 2007 (RS Freshman): Did not allow a run, pitching five innings over four appearances ... Allowed only three hits while striking out five on the season ... Pitched against Tabor (3/6), Penn State (3/13), Kansas Wesleyan (4/4) and Chicago State (5/13). 2006 (Freshman): Took a redshirt season. Free State HS: Played prep ball at Free State High School under head coach Mike Hill, Jr. ... Named First Team All-State in 2005 ... Posted a career record of 11-1 with a 2.97 ERA on the mound ... As a junior, struck out 71 batters in 65 innings of work ...
