Hit .375 over the first two months of the season ... Collected a career-high three hits in back-to-back games (Feb. 27 vs. Sacramento State and March 5 vs. Iowa) ... 2009 (Freshman): Played in 53 games, making 40 starts in the outfield ... Batted .280 with six doubles, two homers and 19 runs scored ... Drew 24 walks to reach base at a .386 clip ... Hit .325 over his final 23 games, hitting safely in 19 of them ... Went 2-for-5 with a double in his first collegiate start against Memphis (Feb. 20) ...
