Originally founded as the Outland Club in 1949 by Dick, Skipper and Odd Williams, the Williams Education Fund (WEF) is the official fundraising department for Kansas Athletics.
Summer 2012: Played in 62 games for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in the Northwoods League ... Batted .227 with five doubles, 35 runs scored and a .357 on-base percentage ... Collected 18 stolen bases in 24 attempts ... Manager was Jake Martin.
2012 (Junior): Named First Team Academic All-Big 12 ... Earned selection to the Athletic Director's and Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Rolls ... Played in 45 games, making 37 starts ... Started 15 games at second base, 12 at third base and 10 as a designated hitter ... Batted .301 for the season with five doubles, two triples and 29 runs scored ... Reached base at a .453 clip ... Batted .306 in Big 12 games ... Hit .360 with men on base ... Recorded 10 multi-hit games ... Went 2-for-4 with a double and a triple in season opener at Middle Tennessee (Feb. 17) ... Collected three hits and two runs scored against Southern Utah (March 21) ... Went 4-for-7 with three RBIs and two doubles in series with Texas A&M (April 14-15) ... Collected a season-high four hits and three RBIs at UALR (May 1) ... Went 4-for-12 with a triple and four RBIs at Big 12 Championship.
Summer 2011: Played for the Hawaii Alliis of the Hawaiian Collegiate Baseball League ... Head coach was Carl Fraticelli ... Hit .267 with two doubles, two triples and 19 runs scored ... Added 18 RBIs and was successful on 7-of-8 stolen base attempts.
2011 (Sophomore): Played in 40 games, making 17 starts in the infield... Hit .284 with a double and 14 RBIs... Drew 14 walks and stole seven bases for a .425 on base percentage... Had a multiple RBI game on four different occasions... Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a stolen base versus Missouri (April 6)... Collected two hits with a double and two RBIs at Iowa (April 12)... Went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and two stolen bases at Texas Tech (May 1).
Summer 2010: Played for the Walla Walla Sweets of the West Coast League ... Teammate of Kansas teammates James Stanfield and Kevin Kuntz.
2010 (Freshman): Played in 21 games, making four starts, all at third base ... Batted .243 with two doubles and six RBIs ... Recorded two hits against Saint Mary (March 9) - his first collegiate start ... Went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored at No. 1 LSU (March 14) ... Collected a career-high three hits and two RBIs at Baylor (March 28).
2009 (Redshirt): Took a redshirt season.
At Free State HS: Lettered three years in baseball for coach Mike Hill ... Named first team all-state ... Selected second team all-area by the Kansas City Star ... Also tabbed first team All-Sunflower League ... Led team to state championship as a sophomore ... Played summer ball for the Topeka Golden Giants of the MINK League.
