Kansas Baseball Alters Midweek Schedule

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas baseball has announced changes to its schedule for the week. The Jayhawks will now play just one game against UALR on Tuesday, May 1 instead of a two-game series. The Tuesday game will now feature a 3 p.m. first pitch. KU was originally scheduled to play a two-game series with the Trojans on Tuesday and Wednesday, but will now return to Lawrence after just one game. The Jayhawks will leave for Little Rock, Ark., on Monday afternoon and return home late Tuesday night allowing the student-athletes to attend the final two days of class on Wednesday, May 2 and Thursday, May 3. Fans can listen to Tuesday afternoon's game on AT&T Jayhawk All-Access at kuathletics.com. The Jayhawks' game at UALR is the first of four non-conference games in the next week as the team will host Air Force on Friday (6 p.m.) and Saturday (2:30 p.m.) as well as Missouri State on Sunday (1 p.m.) as part of the Jayhawk Classic at Hoglund Ballpark.
