The Kansas Jayhawks posed with their Big 12 Championship trophy Sunday after defeating Nebraska.

 Buck Afenir continued his hot streak during the Championship with two hits and an RBI.

 Afenir was congratulated by Erik Morrison for his contributions in the victory.
Matt Baty raced back to the center field wall for a catch.

 Baty was named Championship MVP.

 Jared Schweitzer, Don Czyz and Baty began the victory celebration.
Baty tackled Czyz as other players raced in to celebrate.

 John Allman flew in to top off the celebration.

 Championship shirts touched off a joyous frenzy.
Freshman Nick Czyz threw five and a third innings of three-hit baseball.

 Teammates were quick to congratulate Czyz on his outstanding performance.

 Brother Don Czyz let out a yell and pumped his fist as the final out was recorded.
Erik Morrison had two hits, drove in two runs and scored another run.

 Morrison fired a throw to first.

 During the game, Coach Ritch Price talked with broadcasters of the nationally televised game.
Coach Price was hugged by his wife after the game.

 Ritchie Price put an end to a Nebraska steal attempt.

 Price had two hits for KU.
Jared Schweitzer was congratulataed by Coach Price after homering in the sixth inning.

 Brock Simpson drove in two runs for the Jayhawks.

 KU batters discussed a new Nebraska pitcher with assistant coach Kevin Tucker.
