KU players and coaches lined up for their NCAA opening round game against Hawaii in Corvallis, Oregon Friday afternoon.

Coach Ritch Price congratulated Buck Afenir after the freshman blasted one of KU's four home runs.

Afenir kneeled down to take a throw for a force at homeplate.

Brenden McNamara's strong middle relief earned him a victory.

Gus Milner pulled in a fly ball as KU began their NCAA play.

Erik Morrison got KU on the board with a three-run homerun in the fourth inning.

Morrison celebrated Buck Afenir's home run that tied the game at 5-5.

Jared Schweitzer pulled in a pick off throw from Kodiak Quick.

Coach Price kept close tabs on the lineup.

Coach Price was pumped up as KU pumped up the offense in their comeback.

Ritchie Price watched the outfield play as he advanced to third base. Price became KU's all-time runs scored leader.

Second base Ryne Price watched a hot shot into his glove.

Price later homered and was greeted at the plate by Erik Morrison.

Jared Schweitzer connected on his home run swing in the sixth inning.

Schweitzer watched the ball clear the fence as he trotted towards first base.

Ritchie Price congratulated Schweitzer after the senior hit for the cycle in the game.
