Sophomores Highlight KU Scrimmages
Oct. 30, 2012 LAWRENCE, Kan. – Sophomore Michael Suiter went 6-for-10 with two doubles, a triple and five RBIs, while fellow sophomore Drew Morovick pitched five scoreless innings as Kansas baseball held its penultimate weekend of scrimmages at Hoglund Ballpark. Suiter led the offense in the scrimmages, going 3-for-5 in both games. He collected a double and three RBIs in Friday’s contest and chipped in a double and a triple and two RBIs Sunday. Sophomore Joe Moroney went 2-for-5 with a run scored in Friday’s game, while Justin Protacio, Alex DeLeon and Ka’iana Eldredge also enjoyed two-hit games.
