The Kansas softball team went 2-0 on Saturday, defeating North Dakota State 8-3 before handing No. 17 Texas A&M a 1-0 loss, their first loss of the season, at Davis Diamond in College Station.
Kansas and Washington State played a tight game on Saturday afternoon that ended in favor of Washington State by a score of 5-4 at Dell Diamond. The Cougars hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the eighth inning that proved to be the game-winner.
