High School: Played at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., in fall of 2010 before coming to Kansas... Averaged 14.0 points, 7.0 assists and 6.3 rebounds for coach Loren Jackson at IMG Academy... Spent his sophomore year at Campbell Hall High School in North Hollywood, Calif., his junior season at Stone Ridge Prep in Tarzana, Calif., and finished his high school career at IMG Academy... Played for Belmont Shore AAU, which was the AAU program current Jayhawk Jeff Withey played for as well... Qualified for numerous AAU all-star teams during the summer of 2010 - Top 50 at the Pangos All-American Camp; Top 40 game for the Pangos All-American LIVE; Top 25 pick on the Fullcourt Press All-West Camp.

Great uncle, Bill Garrett, played basketball collegiately at Indiana from 1949-51... Has two cousins who played professional sports as well -- Mike Garrett, who played football at USC and in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Diego Chargers and former New York Yankee great Chris Chambliss.
