Overview:Made the KU team via walk-on tryouts in October 2008... Has a solid work ethic and provides depth at the guard position... An outstanding student.
Senior Season (2011-12): Played in 14 games, while making one start... Averaged 3.3 minutes, 1.4 points and 0.6 rebounds per game... Scored a career-high seven points versus Texas Tech (2/18) on a career-high three made field goals and one three point field goal... Played a career-high 10 minutes versus Howard (12/29)... Grabbed a career-high three rebounds versus North Dakota (12/31), while also recording his first career blocked shot... Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
Junior Season (2010-11):Played in 15 games for the Jayhawks, averaging 2.3 minutes per appearance... Played a career-high eight minutes against Ohio (11/26), scoring five points off of 2-of-3 shooting from the field, including 1-for-1 from behind the arc... Scored three points against Kansas State (1/29) in just one minute of action... Played one minute in Kansas' Sweet 16 victory over Richmond (3/25).
Sophomore Season (2009-10):Appeared in nine games and averaged nearly two minutes per contest... Scored a career-high six points on 2-of-2 shooting against Tennessee Tech (11/27)... Also scored two points against Radford in one minute of action... Played in one Big 12 contest against Colorado (2/20).
Freshman Season (2008-09):Played in five games, including one minute against Nebraska (2/21)... Played two minutes against Florida Gulf Coast (11/18)... Also appeared versus Coppin State (11/28), New Mexico State (12/3) and Jackson State (12/6)... Attempted one shot against Florida Gulf Coast.
High School:A three-year basketball letterwinner at Hays High School for coach Rick Keltner... Averaged 17.3 points, six rebounds and four assists his senior season as the Indians went 14-7... Earned team MVP honors, Western Athletic Conference (WAC) league first-team accolades and was third team all-state in class 5A his senior season... Hays won the WAC title his sophomore year... Had a 3.98 cumulative grade point average in high school and was a member of the KBCA Academic All-State team... Recognized with numerous other academic honors including: Hays City Shootout All-Academic Team, Dodge City Tournament of Champions All Academic Team, American Legion School Award for Academics... Also lettered two years in track at Hays High... Played AAU basketball for Kansas City Premiere and was coached by Byron Jones and Kristen Davis-Jones.
Off The Court:Full name is Jordan Lee Juenemann (pronounced JUNE-uh-man)... Born in Hays, Kan... Parents are Jerry and Dalene Juenemann... Older sister, Jessica, graduated from KU in spring 2008... Has a younger brother, Jaydan... Major is exercise science with a minor in business... Currently serving internship in the Williams Education Fund... Would like to pursue career in coaching or administration in a college setting.
