Overview: An invited walk-on who was a redshirt for 2004-05, appeared in 16 games in 2005-06 and 17 games in 2006-07 and 20 contests last season... A big body who adds depth to the Jayhawk frontcourt... An outstanding student who juggles the long hours of being an architecture major and student-athlete... Is a five-time member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Kansas has won in every game that Kleinmann has scored in.
Junior Season (2007-08): Played in 20 games during KU's national championship season and averaged 2.2 minutes... Played in four of KU's six NCAA Tournament contests... Excelled in the classroom, being named to the Athletic Directors and Big 12 Commissioner's honor rolls for the fall 2007 and spring 2008 semesters... Scored seven points and pulled down 13 rebounds on the year... Grabbed two rebounds in one minute of action in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Portland State (March 20)... Tied season-highs in points (two), field goals (one), assists (one) and minutes played (six) against Texas Tech (March 3)... Converted on his only shot attempt in two minutes of floor time versus Nebraska (Jan. 26)... Scored his first points of the season and had two rebounds against Eastern Washington (Dec. 5)... Had a career-best three rebounds and matched his personal high in blocked shots and assists (one each) in five minutes of action versus Northern Arizona (Nov. 21)... Played six minutes in an exhibition game against Pittsburg State (Nov. 1) and pulled down four rebounds to go along with his two points.
Sophomore Season (2006-07): Appeared in 17 games and averaged 4.4 minutes, 0.9 points and 0.9 rebounds... Was 5-for-9 (55.6 percent) from the field on the season and had four multi-rebound games... Made 5-of-6 (83.3 percent) of his free throws... Played a career-high 10 minutes against Towson (Nov. 19) with two points and a career-high-tying three rebounds... Logged seven minutes against Tennessee State (Nov. 21) with an assist and two boards... Was 2-for-2 for a season-high four points against Dartmouth (Nov. 28)... Appeared in eight Big 12 regular-season games, scoring seven points... Played six minutes against Iowa State (Feb. 24) with two points and a steal... Played against Oklahoma in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Championship and in each of Kansas' first two games of the NCAA Tournament against Niagara and Kentucky... Freshman Season (2005-06): Appeared in 16 games as a redshirt freshman... Made the first four shots he took as a Jayhawk and was 7-for-11 (63.6 percent) for the season... Saw two minutes in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championship against Nebraska... Played one minute off the bench against Colorado (March 1)... Saw one minute of action against Baylor... Tied a career high in assists with one against Missouri (Feb. 18)... Set a new career high in rebounds with three against Texas Tech (Jan. 30)... Had four points and one assist in six minutes against Nebraska (Jan. 21)... Saw two minutes of action against Kentucky (Jan. 7)... Was perfect from the field (4-of-4) and the line (2-of-2) in his first five outings... Scored a career-high six points against Chaminade (Nov. 23) in the third round of the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational... Made the most of his two minutes in the season opener against Idaho State by scoring two points and pulling down one rebound in his KU career debut.

Turned down a scholarship offer from the University of the Pacific to walk on at KU... Also recruited by South Florida, Valparaiso, Yale, William & Mary and UNC-Wilmington.
