Canada Exhibition (Fall 2008): Started the first two games in KU's 3-0 trip to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, but did not play in the last game due to a sore ankle... Played 21 minutes with four points and three rebounds versus McGill... Scored his only two points against Carleton with time running out in the first half to give KU a 45-44 halftime lead.

Off the Court: Full name is Brady Craig Morningstar... Born in Hinsdale, Ill.... Received his bachelor's degree in communication studies from KU in May 2010... Pursued graduate studies during 2010-11 season... Parents are Roger and Linda Morningstar... Father, Roger, was a KU basketball standout on the 1974 and 1975 Big Eight Conference championship teams under head coach Ted Owens... Roger started 48 of 55 games played and averaged 11.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in his two-year career at Kansas... The 1974 Jayhawks advanced to the NCAA Final Four and ended the year ranked seventh nationally... Sister, Linsey, was a senior setter/defensive specialist on the Kansas volleyball team in 2006... Sister, Jamie, was a letterwinner at KU involleyball from 1999-2002.
