Senior Season (2007-08): Surpassed his games played and minutes played from 2006-07... He set a careerhigh in minutes (six), free throws made (two) and assists (two) versus Texas Tech (March 3) and tied a career-high in that game in points (two), three-point attempts (one) and free throw attempts (two)... Against Florida Atlantic (Nov. 28) he recorded his first assist and rebound of the year in three minutes of playing time... Saw his first action in the team's first game against ULM (Nov. 9), playing two minutes.
Junior Season (2006-07): Earned a spot on the roster following walk-on tryouts... Appeared in 10 games on the season, scoring three points and pulling down four rebounds... Played in the season opener against Northern Arizona with a blocked shot... Registered a season-high four minutes against Nebraska (Feb. 17) and scored a season-high two points with one steal... Reached the scoring column with a free throw against Niagara in the NCAA Tournament opening round... Recorded a season high two rebounds and had one assist versus Niagara.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Humboldt High School... Earned a total of nine letters -- four in basketball, three in football and two in track... Coached in basketball by Craig Smith and K.B. Cross ... Finished with 1,212 career points -- the fourth most in school history... Named second-team all-state as a senior in basketball... Helped the Cubs to a sub-state championship in 2003... An all-state honorable mention in football in 2002... A three-time all-league selection in basketball... Was named Top Male in his senior class and a member of the National Honor Society.
