Up Close

Favorite TV show
South Park

Person who has had the greatest influence on my athletic career
Kevin Reynolds (high school coach)

When I played basketball as a kid I pretended to be
Larry Bird

The thing I like most about KU is
The student body and alumni support

The first time I met Coach Williams I thought
He looks a lot taller on TV

Person in history I would like to meet
Jesus Christ

My favorite class at KU is
English

If I could change one thing about college basketball I would
Have a jump ball instead of the possession arrow

My greatest moment in sports was
Starting for KU

My ultimate SportsCenter highlight would be
My tip-dunk off of Terry Nooner’s miss versus Santa Clara

My favorite sports announcer is
Bill Walton

The best player I have ever faced was
Raef LaFrentz

My advice to youngsters is
Pray and play hard

If I could add one team to the schedule it would be
Duke or Yale

After my KU career is over, I’d like to be remembered as
A player that did it all

The teammate that makes me laugh the hardest is
T.J. Pugh

If forced to give up all my possessions but one, I’d keep
My faith in God
