... Makes Kansas 17-0 to open the year, including 12-0 in Allen Fieldhouse. KU's 17 victories to start the year are the most since the 1996-97 team won 22 games before suffering a loss.

Game Notes:

-- Kansas has now won 25 straight regular-season games. The Jayhawks are 17-0 this season and have won 31 of their last 32 games.

-- The Jayhawks are 2-0 in Big 12 Conference play for the second-straight season and the 11th time in 12 seasons since the league was created.

-- KU used the starting lineup of Darrell Arthur, Darnell Jackson, Russell Robinson, Mario Chalmers and Brandon Rush for the seventh time this season.

-- Kansas shot 53 percent (31-of-58) from the field, marking the 15th time this season they have shot 50% or better for the game.

-- The Jayhawks shot a season-high 94 percent (17-of-18) from the free throw line. -- KU opened the game with nine-straight points before allowing OU to score at the 16:35 mark. It marked the second-straight game the Jayhawks scored seven or more points before their opponent got on the board.

-- Junior Brandon Rush turned in 17 points, marking the 10th time this season he has reached double digits in scoring. Rush turned in 11 first half tallies marking the second-straight game he has hit the double figure mark in the opening frame.

-- Rush tied season-highs in assists (4) and steals (2).

-- Rush pulled down nine rebounds, just one shy of his season high. All nine of his rebounds came on the defensive end, which ties for the most by a Jayhawk this season.

-- With four three-point field goals against the Sooners, Rush moved into eighth place on the KU three-point field goals made chart with 152 three-pointers. He passed Rex Walters who finished his career with 151.

-- Sophomore post Darrell Arthur scored 14 points giving him double figures in 15 of 17 games this season and in 33 games in his career.

-- Senior Darnell Jackson narrowly missed his first double-double of the season, finishing with a team-high 17 points, to go along with his eight rebounds. He has now posted double figures in 10 games this season and 30 in his career.

-- Jackson has shot 55-for-76 from the field (72.4 percent) over his last 10 games.

-- Sophomore Mario Chalmers posted five assists in the win, marking the 13th time this season he has recorded five or more assists in a game.

-- With his 13 points, Chalmers moved into 44th place on the KU all-time scoring list with 1,038 points. He passed Bill Bridges (1,028) and Jerry Gardner (1,030).

-- Chalmers moved into a tie with JR Giddens for 11th place on the all-time three-point baskets made chart. He knocked down one triple versus Oklahoma giving him 137 in his career.

-- Freshman Cole Aldrich tied a season-high with three blocks.

-- Kansas improved to 15-0 on the season when leading at the half and 13-0 when out-rebounding its opponent.

-- This marked the 88th time in KU's last 91 games that the Jayhawks have held their opponent under 50 percent field goal percentage. Just one opponent (UL-Monroe) has shot over 50 percent in a game this season.
