Kansas’ Win…
--Makes Kansas 27-5 and gives KU 27 victories for the sixth-straight season dating back to 2006-07.

--Gives the Jayhawks an 11-5 mark in games away from Allen Fieldhouse (8-2 in true road games and 3-3 in neutral floors).
--Improves Kansas to 15-1 in its opening Big 12 Championship contests (1-0 in first round, 14-2 in quarterfinals).
--Gives Bill Self’s squad a seven game winning streak in the Big 12 tournament, dating back to the 2009-10 season.
--Advances KU to the conference tournament semifinals for the 14th time in Big 12 history and 32nd time overall.
--Improves Kansas to 62-23 in league tournament play and 32-7 at the Big 12 Championship.
--Makes KU 14-3 all-time at the Sprint Center, including 1-1 this season and 9-1 during the past three seasons.--Makes KU 20-1 all-time against Texas A&M and 12-1 under Bill Self.
--Improves Self to 12-3 against the Aggies overall.
--Gives Bill Self a 264-51 record while at Kansas and 471-156 mark overall.
--Improves KU’s conference tournament record to 27-8 and gives Self an 18-3 record while at Kansas in the Big 12 Championship.
--Makes the Jayhawks 2,065-804 all-time.

Team Notes
--With Elijah Johnson’s 26-point performance, all five of Kansas’ starters have now recorded a 25-point game this season.

--Kansas made 10-of-15 shots from the three-point line, marking its best shooting performance of the season. KU’s previous best was a 9-of-15 performance versus Texas Tech on Feb. 18.
--Kansas also had a season’s best shooting percentage from the field, making 27-of44 shots on the afternoon, good for 61.4 percent. Its previous best outing came with a 41-of-70 shooting night versus Towson on Nov. 11, 2011.
--The Jayhawk defense held Texas A&M to just three three-pointers. The Aggies made just 3-of-13 threes in the game, a KU opponent low since the Jayhawks held Baylor to just two treys on Feb. 8.
--Kansas went on a 10-0 run during a four minute stretch in the first half, which gave them a nine point lead (30-21), after trailing Texas A&M by one (20-21). That was the last time KU would trail the Aggies in the game.

Individual Notes
--Junior guard Elijah Johnson set a new career high in points with his 26 tallies versus A&M, eclipsing his old mark of 23, which he set against UCLA in November.

-- Johnson hit a total of five three pointers versus the Aggies, including back-to-back treys in the first half. It’s the 15th time this season he has converted on multiple shots from beyond the arc in a contest.
--Johnson also tied his career high for three-point field goals in a game with his five and in total field goals with eight.
--Johnson has now scored a total of 51 points versus Texas A&M this season. He had four points against the Aggies in Lawrence, 21 in College Station and 26 in Kansas City.
--Junior forward Thomas Robinson recorded his NCAA and Big 12-leading 23rd double-double of the season as he finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds. His 23 double-doubles rank him seventh on KU’s all-time list.
-- Robinson’s 10 boards gave him 679 career rebounds moving him past Marcus Morris and Paul Pierce for sole possession of for 16th all-time.
--Robinson made both of his attempts from beyond the arc, giving him six three-pointers in his career and his first game with multiple makes from three.
--Senior guard Tyshawn Taylor turned in 16 points, marking his 29th double-figure scoring game of the season and the 73rd of his career.
-- Junior center Jeff Withey blocked four shots on the afternoon. It marks the 16th game of the season in which Withey has blocked three or more shots in a contest.
-- His four blocks give him 104 for the season, which ranks second for blocks in a single season at Kansas.
