Kansas’ Win Over Texas Tech…
…Made KU 30-2 on the season overall.
…Gave the Jayhawks 30 wins for ninth time in school history, including three of the last four years.

…Made KU 13-1 in Big 12 Championship first round games (1-0 in first round, 12-2 in quarterfinals).

…Advanced Kansas to the conference tourney semifinals for the 12^th time in Big 12 history and 30^th time overall.

…Improved Kansas to 56-23 in league tournament play, 26-7 at the Big 12 Championship.

…Made KU 2-0 at the Sprint Center this season and 3-0 in neutral site games.
…Made the Kansas all-time series with Texas Tech 19-4 in favor of KU.
…Made the series 2-0 in favor of the Jayhawks in games played in Sprint Center.

-- Jayhawk junior center Cole Aldrich collected 10 boards in the first half and tied a season-high with 18 for the game, giving him his 18th double figure rebounding game of the season and 36th of his career. Aldrich pulled down 10 of KU’s 20 first-half rebounds.

--Aldrich’s 18 rebounds moved him into 11^th place on the Kansas all-time rebounding chart with 825. He passed Dave Robisch, who was previously in 11^th place with 815 boards in his career.

--In addition to his 18 rebounds, Adlrich collected 12 points giving him his 14th double double of the season and 36th of his career.

--Aldrich also posted three blocks in the win, giving him 241 in his career. He needs just one more block to move into a third place tie on the KU all-time blocks chart with Eric Chenowith, who completed his Jayhawk career with 242 blocks. It marked the 27^th game this season Aldrich has recorded three or more blocks.

-- With 19 points, senior guard Sherron Collins moved into fifth place on the Kansas all-time scoring chart. Collins now has 1,822 career points and passed Darnell Valentine (1,821) on the KU all-time scoring chart. Collins’ 18 points marked the most points he has scored since he posted 22 vs. Oklahoma State (Feb. 27.

--Collins’ 19 points marked his 26^th double-figure scoring game this season and 94^th of his career.

--KU sophomore forward Markieff Morris turned in 11 points and nine rebounds, marking his sixth double-figure scoring game of the season.

--With 13 points, KU freshman forward Xavier Henry moved into second place on the KU freshman scoring chart with 445 points, passing Brandon Rush, who scored 444 points in his freshman campaign.

-- Kansas was credited with 20 assists on 24 baskets, led by Collins with six assists. Eight KU players dished at least one assist, with junior guard Brady Morningstar adding four assists, his highest output since dishing five versus Texas A&M (Feb. 15).

-- Kansas made only 10-of-28 shots from the field in the first half (35.7 percent), but opened the second half knocking down six of its first nine shots and went on to finish the game shooting 43.6 percent from the floor.

-- The KU bench outscored the TTU bench 22-7, led by 11 points from Markieff Morris.

-- Kansas used the starting lineup of Xavier Henry, Sherron Collins, Tyshawn Taylor, Marcus Morris and Cole Aldrich for the sixth straight game. The lineup was Kansas’ most-used starting five of the season with a record of 16-2.
